Ibiza is small (45km across) but public transport is limited. Here's how to navigate the island.
Rent a Car
The best option for exploring. Book early in summer (€35–€60/day). Major companies at the airport. Parking in Ibiza Town is a nightmare June–September — use the free lot near the port and walk.
Buses
Ibiza Bus runs routes between main towns (€2–€4). The Discobus runs late-night routes to major clubs (€4, every 30 min). Reliable but slow — budget extra time.
Formentera Ferry
30-minute ferry from Ibiza Town port (€20–€25 return with Baleària or Trasmapi). Ferries run every 30 min in summer. Take the first one and rent a scooter on arrival.
